This plastic U-profile is used for placing aerated concrete blocks, or ytong blocks, and glass blocks. You mount the U-profile to the foundation after which you can place the blocks. The advantage is that the blocks stand in a straight line and it provides extra strength. You can also use the U-profile to close off the blocks which ensures a nice finish and strength. The profiles can be ordered individually, but it is more economical to order per package.
